The most significant upgrade was that of Makin' Magic, which provided a baker's oven which allows Sims to prepare more types of food, as long as the required ingredients were in the Sim's inventory. In Unleashed, dogs and cats can be fed pet food using a food bowl. Livin' Large added Servo, which will produce food when told to serve a meal. This food is bought from buy mode, and is ready to eat when purchased. Later expansion packs provided more food for Sims to eat, including a birthday cake, cookies, and turkey.

But you do have to be careful not to install more than one version of the same mod as many of them offer different 'flavors' of the same thing on the same MTS pages.

None of these mods conflict with each other, if anything these developers worked really hard to make their creations cross-compatible. I'm probably leaving a couple of things and developers out by accident, but this might be enough to get you started. These are now outdated, Cinderellimouse took over this one and it's her versions that are current. You may also find Ingredients Overhaul mods by BlackCat007 and Anak_Ponti in your travels. You can even use it to make candles out of beeswax. I helped test this out when it was back in beta and it's totally awesome - there's around 100 different things this mod allows for that the station itself does not. To extend the functionality of the canning station, check out Butterbot's Canning Station Overhaul at MTS. To enhance the capabilities of the bakers oven displays and racks, there's the NRaas Cupcake mod. To further extend the ways sims work with food (and beverages), also look for icarus_allsorts' mods at MTS.

But then very few people in the real world really know how to grow and cook everything there is on the planet. My sims now have so many harvestables to garden and recipes to learn that it's almost impossible for any of them to get anywhere near 100% learned unless they are extremely focused and dedicated to the tasks at hand. Be careful with icemunmun's as she also develops for TS4 and you don't want to get TS4 mod files mixed in with TS3.

It's available here: įor the custom ingredients, harvestables, and recipe mods themselves, check out the creations of icemunmun, cinderellimouse, douglasveiga all at MTS. All you have to do with it is toss into Mods/Packages like any other package file. It's an ingenious mod that quietly acts as a custom loader for these items. But for the black vs chestnut I bred the two again 5 times or probably more for this one and they kept coming out black but with the annoying not just tail but also chestnut mane & tail -_-īut thankyou for the information it can help me for future experimentsīasically the way the Sims does it is based firstly on the horses base coat layer, from there any markings are randomized to create the foal, which in my opinion is the dumbest thing EA has come out with yet. Many custom ingredient havestable recipe mod developers have switched over to requiring CCLoader to make their creations work. but these two where bred 5 times and every foal except 1 came out grey so this is the theory I am trying to do to experiment and see how realistic it is. E.g the grey that was bred with the chestnut the markings where random. These are the coat variants that came out most. I did produce atleast 5 foals and for each foal I show here. But I am just teaching people not just about genetics, but I am testing to see how realistic they can be to real life genetics from actual horse breeding the only random thing that happened here was the chestnut tails. Yeah I think you did the dog genetics, and I know its random.
